Small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) need an international and digital mindset. The DigitSME project, funded by Interreg, will strengthen SMEs in those fields, using Sqans as their survey and monitoring tool.
The project will conduct a large scale quantitative research in 4 international regions. SMEs participating in the research will be scored based on 5 main pillars; Organization of Digital Marketing, Tools & Techniques, Data & Content and Internationalization. Based on their scores, their maturity will be determined to be one of four levels. Then, in cross-border clusters and with the help from experts, the companies will improve their digital and international competences. Finally, the entrepreneurs will receive coaching to shift towards digital marketing and successfully enter markets abroad.
The aim of the DigitSME project is to improve the competences of the participating SMEs. Sqans is able to contribute to this mission by providing an easy way to create scored surveys and by providing the respondents with a personalized report after completing the survey. These contain an overview and explanation of the respondent’s score, an industry benchmark and dynamic tips to improve the scored competences. This report increases the incentive for respondents to participate in the survey, but also enables the DigitSME project to provide valuable insights to SMEs in a much larger and scalable manner.
